My name is E. Colfax. I am a research science teacher from New Jersey, USA. I have a passion for writing my own original research studies and then going out in the field to gather data, make observations, and then communicate these observations with others. Over the past ten years I have traveled around the world conducting scientific research on all seven continents. The reason that I design, write, and conduct research such as this, is because I am hoping to bring science from all seven continents back to my students and the greater school community. I realize that most people will never have a chance to visit and see science in action such as this on a regular day, so I feel that I have an obligation to the greater school community to share what I find out on my expeditions.
